LEURA
Widely known as the "garden village", Leura is renowned for its magnificent mix of public and private gardens and the spectacular row of cherry trees that line the main shopping precinct - Leura Mall. Visitors flock here just as much for the fabulous eclectic mix of shops and amazing eateries that line the Mall as they do for the picturesque surrounds.
KATOOMBA
Katoomba is the largest town in the Blue Mountains and is home to the world famous Three Sisters which tower above the world heritage listed Jamison Valley. Here you’ll find a plethora of stores ranging from all the major supermarkets down to speciality stores as well as a wide range of dining options and galleries. It’s a great starting point for your stay.
BLACKHEATH
The village of Blackheath is on an escarpment that has spectacular mountain scenery. Govetts Leap Lookout, Evans Lookout and Hargraves Lookout all provide great vantage points to observe the natural wonders of the area. Home to eclectic shopping and a huge antiques centre, Blackheath provides a well curated mix of shops, cafes and galleries.
WENTWORTH FALLS
This village offers spectacular views over the Jamison Valley and the magnificent waterfall for which it's named. On offer is an interesting mix of vintage stores and cafes set in Victorian era buildings. It’s a great starting point for your Blue Mountains adventure and well worth a stop on your way up the mountain to the house.
MOUNT VICTORIA
Mount Victoria is home to the region’s highest peak, One Tree Hill. This heritage-listed village is a fascinating step back in time with many historic buildings. Whilst small it provides a great starting point to access one of the many lookouts within easy driving distance from the village centre. There are a few cafes and retail stores on offer too.
LITTLE HARTLEY
Hartley Historic Site offers one of the finest collections of historic buildings in Australia. Of particular interest is the Sandstone Courthouse. Examine the courthouse for graffiti and step inside to hear a re-enactment of a court case. Stop in at The Lolly Bug for a great range of lollies from all over the world.
Discover MEDLOW BATH
Medlow Bath Park
The park is only a 5-10 minute walk from the house and boasts a full sized tennis court that’s free to use - you just need to bring along your own racquet and balls. There’s also kid’s play equipment and beautiful, established gardens where you can enjoy a coffee from nearby Tournament.
Hydro Majestic Hotel
The Hydro was first opened in 1904 and was built by the retail baron Mark Foy. It has recently undergone a full refurbishment and boasts several dining areas, a cocktail lounge and a gift shop (as well as incredible views). You can find out more about its history here.
The Chalet

Potbelly Cafe
Only a short walk from the house, Potbelly Cafe has a focus on seasonal, locally sourced produce and is known for its great coffee and service. It has an adjacent barn that is often used as a pop-up retail venue so there’s always something new on offer.
Grand Canyon Walk
Situated between Medlow Bath and Blackheath this walk consists of a well-shaded track that meanders through lush vegetation and runs adjacent to Greaves Creek. To access you need to drive to Evans Lookout and set out from there. It’s a loop track of approx 6.3kms.
Megalong Valley
One of the best views of the valley is from the Hydro Majestic Hotel. From here you can enjoy a coffee and a snack whilst taking in the amazing views of the ancient valley below. To get down to the Megalong Valley, simply head to Blackheath and turn off at the railway crossing.
